March 25, 2021 – Olfax Medical has been selected through competitive review as one of three companies into the 2021 DRIVEN Partnership Program. The DRIVEN Accelerator Hub is an NIH-funded consortium of leading research and commercialization institutions in the northeast that supports biomedical entrepreneurs in their mission to improve patient outcomes and save lives. Each year, the DRIVEN Hub selects up to three companies into the Partnership Program. The partnership spans a 3-month timeframe and includes gap assessment, action plan formation, connection with DRIVEN resources, in-kind services, and a presentation to the DRIVEN external committee comprised exclusively of investors (representing over $10B in AUM) and buy-side business development leaders (cumulative market cap exceeding $700B). At the conclusion of the program, participants are invited to apply for seed awards through the DRIVEN Acceleration Fund.
DRIVEN
DRIVEN is one of four NIH-funded (NIGMS UT2GM130176) Regional Technology Transfer Accelerator Hubs for Institutional Development Award (IDeA) states that help to move scientific discoveries and technologies out of the lab and into commercial products that improve patient care and enhance human health. DRIVEN is the Northeast Accelerator Hub who’s mission is to create quality-adjusted life years (QALYs) by increasing the number of quality medical start-ups, decreasing their time to market, and increasing their probability of success.
