Dr. Greenwald is a venture and federal-funding backed medical device entrepreneur with broad expertise in technical development, translational research, commercialization, financing, and intellectual property. He has been principal investigator for numerous research and development awards for product development through the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Department of Defense SBIR programs, has served as a small business expert on the NIH NICHD National Advisory Child Health and Human Development Council, and been a member of the NIH Council of Councils.  He is a fellow of the National Academy of Inventors (NAI) and the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE), and holds 20 US Patents, with 5 patents pending
