Kathy Meserve is a Senior Director of Investments within the Emerging Company Development Group at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center. In this role, Kathy identifies and evaluates early-stage NC-based life science companies for financing, mentors and supports selected companies with business strategy to ensure investor readiness, and provides networking support with venture capital and strategic partners.  Kathy brings over 30 years of experience as a scientist and business executive in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry, with roles at GSK, Genentech, and Calvert Research prior to joining NC Biotech.
