Jason Cook, MD resumed the role of Olfax CEO in 2026 to lead the company into clinical-stage development.  After cofounding the company and raising seed capital as the founding CEO, he transitioned into the Chief Medical Officer role from 2021 to 2026 to lead Olfax’s clinical, regulatory, and product development strategies, and build the development team behind OFX-001.  With over 15 years of experience as a primary care and headache physician, including founding The Family Health Centers Headache Clinic in 2015, Jason maintains a “patients-first” priority in everything we do at Olfax.  Despite the demands of leading an emerging biotech company, he stays immersed in the world of headache medicine, providing weekly patient care at the FHC Headache Clinic and serving as a faculty member for the UNC School of Medicine.  He also serves as a Migraine Division Speaker and Consultant for Pfizer and Abbvie Pharmaceuticals.

Dr. Cook graduated magna cum laude from the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee, received his medical degree from The University of Alabama School of Medicine, and completed his residency with the MAHEC Family Medicine Program in Asheville, NC.
